CEOSim Terms and Conditions of Use

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the CEOSim software (hereinafter, the “Service” or “the Platform”), provided by SOCIEDAD NUEVA GESTIÓN SOFTWARE LIMITADA , with registered office in Chile, and available to users and higher education institutions in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile and other Latin American countries.
By registering, accessing, or using CEOSim, you (the “User”) represent that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. If you represent an institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind it to these terms.
1. Service Description
CEOSim is a business simulation platform for educational settings, allowing students and teachers to participate in interactive scenarios that emulate the management of a real company. The platform integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies for decision and scenario analysis, and optional modules with Virtual Reality (VR) experiences that enrich practical training.
The Service is available through desktop web browsers, as well as through official mobile applications for iOS and Android .
2. Authorized Users
They can use CEOSim:
- Students, teachers and authorities linked to institutions with active licenses.
- Users with individual licenses, acquired directly or through the educational institution.
Each user account is personal and non-transferable. The user is responsible for all activity that occurs under their account.
3. Technical Requirements
Access to CEOSim requires:
- Internet connection.
- Updated web browser or official mobile app installed (iOS or Android).
- In case of using VR modules, compatible devices and enabled permissions.
CEOSim is not responsible for technical limitations of the User’s equipment.
4. Use of Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality
CEOSim’s AI modules offer automated recommendations, predictive simulations, and data pattern-based analysis. These systems are constantly being improved, but they do not replace human judgment or guarantee specific results.
The VR functionality allows for an immersive experience for certain modules. Its use is optional and depends on the user’s equipment.
By using these modules, the User accepts that the results generated may vary and do not constitute professional advice.
5. Acceptable Use of the Service
It is expressly prohibited:
- Using the Service for purposes other than educational ones.
- Altering, copying, or distributing content without authorization.
- Use reverse engineering on the software.
- Introducing malicious code or interfering with the operation of CEOSim.
- Using the system for unauthorized commercial purposes.
CEOSim reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Licensing
Use of the Service is subject to a license agreement, which may be:
- Institutional: held with a university or training center.
- Individual: hired directly by the User.
Each license has a validity period, a number of authorized users, and specific terms of use. Available features may vary depending on the type of license purchased.
7. Content and intellectual property
CEOSim: BUSINESS STRATEGY SIMULATOR is software registered in Chile under number 289.372 and is owned by SOCIEDAD NUEVA GESTIÓN SOFTWARE LIMITADA , located in Temuco, Chile. All rights reserved.
Access to the Service does not imply any transfer of intellectual property rights. Its reproduction, distribution, reverse engineering, or modification is prohibited without express written authorization.
8. Personal data and privacy
The processing of personal data collected through CEOSim is governed by the Privacy Policy . The User consents to such processing for educational, statistical, service improvement, and institutional academic purposes.
CEOSim is committed to respecting the legislation in force in each country where it operates, including but not limited to:
- Chile : Law No. 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life.
- Mexico : Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).
- Colombia : Law 1581 of 2012 on the protection of personal data.
- Peru : Law No. 29733 – Personal Data Protection Law and its Regulations.
9. Limitations of liability
CEOSim is delivered “as is,” with no guarantees of academic results, performance, or learning. It is not responsible for:
- Service Interruptions due to maintenance or technical failures.
- Learning outcomes obtained through the use of AI.
- Misuse of accounts or unauthorized access.
In no event shall CEOSim be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
10. Changes to the Service and Terms
CEOSim reserves the right to modify the Service or these Terms at any time. In the event of significant changes, registered users will be notified. Continued use after such modifications will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
11. Termination of access
CEOSim may suspend or cancel accounts in the event of a breach of these Terms. The User may stop using the Service at any time, without this giving rise to any obligation to refund unless otherwise stipulated in the contract.
12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the User makes use of the Service.
In case of conflict, the parties will submit to the ordinary jurisdiction of the courts of the corresponding capital city:
- Santiago , for users in Chile .
- Mexico City , for users in Mexico .
- Bogotá , for users in Colombia .
- Lima , for users in Peru .
Without prejudice to the possibility of agreeing on other conflict resolution mechanisms if the parties so agree.
